The town of Bucha has announced the winner of an architectural competition to design a memorial at the Church of St Andrew the FirstCalled, where 116 innocent people were buried in a mass grave during the Russian occupation of Bucha.

An artificial pond will be located next to the memorial, with plaques bearing the names of the deceased along its shores.
