Putin's aide announces US-Russia consultations on Ukraine in Riyadh

Yuri Ushakov, Russian leader Vladimir Putins foreign policy advisor, has announced that expert groups from Russia and the United States will hold consultations on Ukraine in Riyadh on 24 March.
Source Ushakov, quoted by Kremlinaligned Russian media Details Ushakov stated that he had recently spoken with Trumps National Security Advisor Mike Waltz, discussing the implementation of a wellknown initiative concerning the security of navigation in the Black Sea.
The Russian delegation at the consultations on this issue will include Grigory Karasin, Chairman of Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, and Sergei Beseda, an advisor to the FSB director.
Beseda previously headed the FSBs 5th Service, also known as the Service for Operational Information and International Relations.
Before Russias fullscale invasion of Ukraine, this service, under Besedas leadership, was responsible for gathering intelligence on Ukraine.
