The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denies the statements about the encirclement of Ukrainian units in Russias Kursk Oblast.
In particular, Russian leader Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump have previously spoken about this.

At the same time, he said that allegedly thousands of Ukrainian troops are completely surrounded by the Russian military, and in a very bad and vulnerable position.
Putin made a similar statement on Thursday, speaking to the media.
