Fico criticises Zelenskyy for supporting protests in Slovakia

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico has criticised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for supporting the protests against the Slovak governments policies that took place on 24 January.
Source Fico quoted by Aktuality European Pravda reports Details Zelenskyy, commenting on the protests in Slovakia, wrote on his X Twitter account Bratislava is not Moscow, Slovakia is Europe.
Fico said he was laughing when he saw this.
He said it was inadequate interference in the internal affairs of the Slovak Republic by Zelenskyy.
The Prime Minister also added that he had no plans to meet with Zelenskyy.
Fico commented on the protests against his government and said that the organisers of the rallies were deceiving the participants and that a third of those taking part in them were claimed to be Ukrainians.
Background On 24 January, people came out to the streets in almost 30 Slovak cities under the slogan Slovakia is Europe against the policy of Robert Ficos government to get closer to Russia.
Rallies were also held in Poland, Germany, Czechia and Ireland.
In total, about 100,000 people gathered at protests across Slovakia.
