Orbán criticises Ukraine over gas transit suspension and threatens to "fight back"

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbn has criticised Ukraines decision to stop transiting Russian gas from the beginning of 2025, warning that Budapest may take retaliatory measures.
Source European Pravda, citing Index, a Hungarian news website Details Speaking at a press conference during his visit to Bratislava on Tuesday, 21 January, Orbn claimed that Ukraine not only stopped gas transit through its territory but also allegedly refuses to negotiate, while its decision threatens Hungary, Slovakia and the entire region.
