Drones have attacked the Russian city of Kazan, with the citys airport suspending operations and debris causing a fire at a business.
Source Russian media and Telegram channels Vladislav Shapsha, the governor of Kaluga Oblast, on Telegram Details Russian Telegram channels claim that Ukraines Armed Forces used a Liutyi fixedwing drone to target factories in Kazan. Witnesses allegedly spotted one of the drones in the Aviastroitelnyy district.
Reports indicate that explosions were heard in two districts of Kazan NovoSavinovskiy and Aviastroitelnyy.
The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency later announced that Kazan airport has been temporarily closed for the arrival and departure of aircraft.

Meanwhile, authorities in Russia confirmed the suspension of operations at the airports in Nizhnekamsk, Tatarstan, and Izhevsk, Udmurt Republic.

They were downed in the city of Kaluga and the Babyninsky district.
UAV wreckage fell on the premises of a business on the outskirts of Kaluga.
A minor fire that broke out was promptly extinguished by emergency services.
Early reports indicate there were no casualties or damage, he stated.
