Kremlin to push for Ukraine's NATO exclusion in any Trump talks, Bloomberg says

Bloomberg sources have reported that one of Russias primary conditions for negotiating an end to its war against Ukraine is ensuring that Ukraine is permanently excluded from NATO membership.
Source European Pravda, citing Bloomberg Details Bloomberg sources claim that in potential talks with Presidentelect Donald Trump to end the war, Russia will insist that Ukraine declare neutrality and limit its armed forces.
A Bloomberg source notes that the Kremlin is not opposed to individual NATO countries providing Kyiv with weapons, though they should not be used against Russia or to recapture territory.
The sources also say Moscow will insist on maintaining at least de facto control of the nearly 20 Russia holds of Ukraine, including Crimea, though the Kremlin is open to some territory swaps.
Bloomberg sources in Ukraine suggest that talks between Kyiv and Moscow are currently limited to prisoner swaps and the release of deported children.
Background During the election campaign, Trump vowed to end the war in Ukraine within 24 hours of taking office, but his advisers have privately acknowledged that this was an unrealistic promise.
Future key Trump administration officials believe that both warring sides Ukraine and Russia must be willing to make concessions in order to bring the war to an end.
At the same time, Ukraines European allies have expressed cautious optimism that Trump will not force Kyiv into premature negotiations with Russia.
