The Russians are losing up to 90 of their equipment during attacks due to the superiority of Ukraines precision drones and artillery on the Lyman front. Source Pavlo Yurchuk, the commander of the 63rd Separate Mechanised Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on air during the national 24/7 newscast Quote Up to 8090 of the enemys equipment is being destroyed by our drones and artillery.
The enemy has yet to achieve parity, as our forces hold the advantage in both numbers and the precision of drone operations.
Details Yurchuk said that Ukrainian troops use drones with fibreoptic communication, which ensures high precision in both control and attacks.
He also mentioned that there are currently no issues with supplying the 63rd Mechanised Brigade with artillery shells and drones.
However, he pointed out that the brigade is short on personnel.
Despite this, the command takes a cautious approach and avoids wasting human resources recklessly, unlike the Russians.
Quote We do need more people for effective defence.
But even with thousands of soldiers, we wont use human resources the way the Russians do.
We understand very well that manpower alone wont win the war, he said.
Background The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on 15 January reported that the Russians launched 17 attacks on the Lyman front.
They attempted to advance near the settlements of Kopanky, Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Raihorodka, Makiivka, Zarichne, Terny and Hryhorivka.
