Russian media outlets have reported that a fire has broken out at the Lukoil oil refinery in Volgograd in Russia following an explosion on the night of 1415 January.
Source The Moscow Times Details The oil refinery is located in the Krasnoarmeysky district of Volgograd.
Local residents said that the incident occurred at around 0400, with reports indicating that an explosion preceded the fire.
Some locals speculated that something fell onto the plant.

They attributed the cause to an emergency situation at the plant itself, rather than any external influence.
The Russian Defence Ministry did not mention the fire in its morning update on drone attacks in Volgograd Oblast, and local authorities made no reference to the refinery fire.
