US President Joe Biden has stated that Kremlin's leader Vladimir Putin is in a "tough shape" following the imposition of extensive sanctions against Russian oil.

Details : Earlier, the US and the UK announced large-scale sanctions against the Russian energy sector, targeting companies such as Gazprom Neft and Surgutneftegas.

Quote : "Putin is in tough shape right now, and I think it's really important that he not have any breathing room to continue to do the god-awful things he continues to do."

More details : Biden also noted that there is a "real chance Ukraine can prevail" if it continues to receive support from the West.
