Ukraine's export earnings increase by over 13% to US$41 billion in 2024 – Ministry of Economy

Ukraines exports of goods increased by 13.4 in 2024, reaching US41 billion, while the volume of exports in physical terms increased by 28.8 to 129.3 million tonnes.
Source press service of the Ministry of Economy Details The main factor behind the export growth was the stabilisation of the Ukrainian seaports.
While in 2023, 54.8 million tonnes of goods were exported by sea, in 2024, this figure rose to 87.2 million tonnes.
Goods transportation has changed not only in terms of quantity but also in terms of quality.
Although the volume of road transport decreased by weight, the total value of goods transported by road increased to US14.5 billion.
In 2023, Ukraine exported 100.3 million tonnes worth US36.1 billion.
In 2024, the European Union remained Ukraines key trading partner, with exports of goods worth US24.5 billion US1 billion more than in 2023.
The main nonEU partners include China US2.3 billion, Trkiye US2.1 billion, Egypt US1.6 billion, India US986 million, and Moldova US935 million.
Sunflower oil became the leader in exports in 2024, with exports of over US5 billion Sunflower meal US1 billion Poultry meat US945 million Sugar US408 million Soybean oil US311 millioMetallurgical exports are reviving.
