The USA transferred 83% of the promised ammunition and 67% of air defense equipment to Ukraine

What exactly has the USA already handed over to Ukraine
As Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder said at the briefing, the following have already been delivered to Ukraine:
83% of ammunition: 155 mm artillery shells, missiles for HIMARS (GMLRS), and ammunition for Patriot and NASAMS.
67% of air defense equipment : among them missiles for the Stinger and HAWK systems.
60% of firearms : in particular, small-diameter bombs and 105 mm ammunition.
In addition, the US has already sent thousands of artillery shells, armored vehicles, HIMARS missiles, anti-tank weapons, artillery systems, air defense missiles, one Patriot battery and other key air defense systems to Ukraine.
As of November 12, 2024, the United States has more than 9 billion dollars at its disposal for continued support to Ukraine.
Of this amount, $7.1 billion is available through the PDA (Presidential Drawdown Authority) program, which allows supplies from US warehouses, and another $2.2 billion is allocated through the USAI (Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative) program, which finances purchases from manufacturers.
The Pentagon spokesman emphasized that the US will continue to support Ukraine, using these funds to provide it with the necessary resources to counter Russian aggression.
What preceded it
On November 9, it became known that the USA plans to supply Ukraine with more than 500 missiles for the Patriot and NASAMS air defense systems, which should meet the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine until the end of the year.
Earlier it became known that the administration of US President Joe Biden intends to use all available funds for military aid to Ukraine by January 20, 2025, that is, by the day of Donald Trump's possible inauguration. This is due to the fact that during the election campaign, Trump repeatedly stated that, in the event of victory, he plans to stop or significantly reduce support for Ukraine. He also avoided a direct statement that he wanted Ukraine to win the war.
These statements and possible changes in US foreign policy create a sense of uncertainty for Ukraine and its allies, which is likely to prompt the Biden administration to accelerate the supply of weapons so that Ukraine has the necessary resources for defense in the event of a reduction in US support in the future.
