First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhii Kyslytsia has held consultations in Beijing with Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin on Russian aggression against Ukraine, the peace process and bilateral relations.

Details: The ministry said that in addition to bilateral relations, plans for further contacts between the presidents and economic cooperation, the parties also discussed Russian aggression against Ukraine and the peace process.

Apart from Liu Bin, Kyslytsia held several more meetings in Beijing, including with diplomats from partner countries.

Quote: "The interlocutors reaffirmed that mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity is a cornerstone of Ukraine-China relations. The parties had a detailed exchange of views on the current situation around ongoing Russian military aggression against Ukraine, as well as on international efforts aimed at achieving sustainable and lasting peace."
