Viacheslav Kurbanov 'Spinoza,' Ukrainian Armed Forces captain and commander of an anti-tank missile system company of the 159th Separate Mechanized Brigade, stated this on Espreso TV."There is a constant question about why Ukraine has such problems with mobilization, which is being called 'busification' and has proven to be a failure. The reason is that the government, from the beginning of the war, has been constantly talking about how it will all be over quickly. In other words, there is no proper state strategy for conducting military operations, and consequently, there is no corresponding total mobilization of the country," emphasized 'Spinoza.'According to the Ukrainian captain, Ukraine does not control when this war will end. While Ukraine can inflict a total and final defeat on the enemy, considering Russia's resources and scale, it must be recognized that this will be very difficult. And in order to stop them—given that the enemy openly declares they have no intention of stopping and that their goal is not just Donetsk region, not just Luhansk region, and not just Crimea, which they have included in their constitution, but all of Ukraine—the country needs to face the truth. The Russians speak about this openly, while Ukraine closes its eyes and ears and refuses to listen."If Ukraine plans to stop such a powerful enemy, the country needs to prepare for a multi-year war. How many more years it will last is unknown to anyone. But it could be another 5-10 years, and it wouldn't be surprising if that's the case.In order to effectively contain the enemy, Ukraine needs to conduct a rotation at the front—to replace the troops who have been fighting for the fourth year now. People are exhausted, both physically and psychologically. They need to be replaced, and for that, the country needs to create several armies that will take turns replacing each other on the front lines," the commander concluded. After negotiations in Berlin on December 15, Zelenskyy said that there is currently no consensus on territorial issues. He also stated that Ukraine will not recognize Donbas as Russian, neither de jure nor de facto.
