US President Donald Trump plans to hold a series of phone calls with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and a number of European leaders on Monday, focused on the course of negotiations on Ukraine.

Details: The official also said that the agreement being discussed in Berlin includes "very strong" US security guarantees for Ukraine, modelled on NATO's mutual defence pact, as well as "potent deterrence" through US weapons. The United States expects Russia to approve the agreement.
