This was a continuation of the agreements reached by the leaders the day before.Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine and the U.S. are in constant contact and jointly strive to make the proposed steps as effective as possible and implementable in a short time.The president also stressed that real progress in achieving peace will depend on Russia's readiness to take effective steps to stop the bloodshed and prevent further escalation.Defense Commissioner Andrius Kubilius stated that the European Union should develop its own proposals for ending the war in Ukraine rather than waiting for initiatives from Washington.
