Details: Gladkov said that a civilian was injured in Belgorod and power disruptions began due to a "strike by an unidentified munition". A lorry was also damaged, and windows were blown out in two houses.
"There are still electricity supply problems in parts of Belgorod and the Belgorod district. All emergency and operational services are working on site. Power engineers are restoring power," the governor wrote.
Meanwhile, Pepel reported that a Russian aerial bomb had fallen near a power substation on Storozhevaya Street in Belgorod.
"That is why no air-raid warning was issued in the city before the explosion, and there were no warnings of an incoming UAV," the outlet said.
In addition, according to Pepel, residents heard the hum of an aircraft flying towards the Ukrainian border shortly before the explosion.
