I hope that Kyiv and those behind it will consider whether it is worth continuing attacks on vessels in the Black Sea," emphasized Vladimir Putin.Tanker attackOn November 28, two tankers simultaneously exploded in the Black Sea near the Turkish coast. These were the Kairos and Virat marine tankers, which are under strict sanctions for transporting Russian oil.According to the Turkish Maritime Affairs Directorate, the Kairos tanker, which was en route to the Russian port of Novorossiysk, initially caught fire, after which the vessel began to sink. Shortly thereafter, almost immediately, the Virat tanker also caught fire, with thick plumes of smoke rising from it.
