Quote : "Defensive operations in Pokrovsk have become more difficult due to deteriorating weather. Operations by Ukrainian units, particularly aerial reconnaissance, were severely hampered by thick fog that lingered over the city throughout the previous day. Limited visibility is making it harder to detect and attack the enemy.
The enemy is exploiting the decreased visibility to build up forces, establish cover in urban areas and prepare for further offensives. The enemy is able to increase the number of personnel moving into the city during adverse weather conditions."
Details : Units from the 7th Rapid Response Corps operating in the area continue to conduct aerial reconnaissance, fire adjustment and strikes on Russian forces despite adverse weather conditions.
In Pokrovsk, Ukrainian forces killed 29 Russian soldiers and wounded nine on 27-28 November. Most of the casualties occurred during small-arms engagements.
The 7th Rapid Response Corps also released a video that illustrates the difficulties in detecting and wiping out Russian forces in low-visibility conditions.
