Zelenskyy and Macron to meet in Paris on Monday

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will be visiting France on Monday 1 December to meet with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, just two weeks after his previous trip.

Details: Macron is scheduled to receive Zelenskyy in Paris on Monday. The leaders will "exchange views on the conditions for a just and lasting peace, building on discussions in Geneva, the American plan and close coordination with our European partners," according to an official communiqué on the announced visit.
They will also address the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine within the framework of the Coalition of the Willing.
Background:
- The Ukrainian president's previous visit to France was just two weeks ago, on 17 November. During that visit, an agreement was signed providing for the purchase of up to 100 Rafale fighter jets for Ukraine.
- Zelenskyy also announced that Ukraine will receive eight SAMP/T air defence systems from France.
