Part of Kyiv loses heating after nighttime Russian strike

Some consumers in Kyiv are temporarily left without heating supply after a Russian strike on the city on the night of 28-29 November.

Quote: "Heating supply is currently not provided for some consumers in the Obolonskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Podilskyi, Solomianskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts.
Municipal services are now working on site, dealing with the aftermath of the attack and will restore heating to homes as soon as the damage is fixed."
Details: Meanwhile, the administration added that power supply to Kyivvodokanal, Kyiv's public utility company, has been stabilised and water pressure across all city districts has returned to normal levels.
Quote: "Water supply in the capital is currently being provided in full and Kyivvodokanal water pumping stations are operating as normal."
Background:
- People living in parts of the Obolonskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, Podilskyi, Holosiivskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts of the capital have been cut off from the electricity supply.
- Officials reported earlier that traffic on Kharkiv Motorway in the capital had been closed during Russia's combined attack, with trolleybus and tram services on the right bank of the city delayed.
- Electricity supply has been swiftly restored for some consumers, bringing power back to over 360,000 households.
- Ukraine's Energy Ministry reported earlier that over 500,000 consumers in Kyiv, more than 100,000 in Kyiv Oblast and nearly 8,000 in Kharkiv Oblast have been left without electricity as of the morning of 29 November due to a Russian attack.
