Ukraine must update defence plan, says Zelenskyy after meeting defence minister and spy chief

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has met with Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal and Kyrylo Budanov, Head of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU), and said that the time has come to update Ukraine's defence plan.

Quote: "Minister of Defence of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, delivered a report. Several key points. It is time to update the fundamental defence documents of Ukraine, including the national defence plan. The course of hostilities has shown what must become the renewed priorities."
Details: Zelenskyy said he and Shmyhal have agreed that Shmyhal will prepare detailed proposals for the changes and present them to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (Ukrainian government) for approval.
He added that the defence minister has also reported on his trips to Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts and on protective measures being implemented.
Quote from Zelenskyy: "It is important that the Government and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine are fully ensuring the necessary funding – in particular for the purchase of drones for combat brigades – and that yesterday another monthly subvention tranche for combat brigades was financed in the amount of UAH 4.3 billion [US$101.7 million]. An additional UAH 8 billion [US$189.3 million] was also allocated for the financing of the Drone Line."
More details: Zelenskyy also said that he held a meeting with spy chief Budanov on 29 November.
