Source: "Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine and head of the Ukrainian delegation Rustem Umierov, together with the team, is already on the way to the United States. Rustem delivered a report today, and the task is clear: to swiftly and substantively work out the steps needed to end the war.
Ukraine continues to work with the United States in the most constructive way possible, and we expect that the results of the meetings in Geneva will now be hammered out in the United States. I look forward to our delegation's report following its work this Sunday. Ukraine is working for a dignified peace."
Details: Ukrainska Pravda sources close to the negotiating group said that Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (DIU) is being represented in the delegation that left for the United States on 28 November by Major General Vadym Skibitskyi.
DIU's Head Kyrylo Budanov has not travelled to the United States and remains at his post in Kyiv.
Previously: The Economist journalist Oliver Carroll had earlier said on X (Twitter) that, based on his information, General Budanov is "on way to the US. Possibly as head of negotiation".
