General Staff confirms attack on Russia's Saratov oil refinery and Saky airfield in Crimea

On the night of 27-28 November, Ukrainian defence forces struck Russia's Saratov oil refinery, an unmanned aerial vehicle storage site at the Saky airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea and several other Russian military facilities.

Details: A series of explosions was recorded at the Saratov refinery, which supplies the needs of the Russian forces, after which a fire was observed in the target area. The aftermath of the strikes is being confirmed, the General Staff added.
A UAV storage site at the Saky airfield (Novofedorivka, temporarily occupied Crimea) was also struck. Early reports show that several air defence assets at the airfield were hit, including a Pantsir-S1 and a Tor-M2 system.
After the Russian air defence systems were suppressed, a hangar storing Orion and Forpost unmanned aerial vehicles was destroyed. In addition, the Ukrainian defence forces struck the Russian command and control post and a KamAZ military truck. The extent of the damage is being confirmed.
Furthermore, concentrations of Russian personnel and fuel and lubricants depots in the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts were struck. The results are being confirmed.
