Details: The case was heard by Supreme Court judge Oleg Nefyodov, who is known for having designated the non-existent "international LGBT movement" and "international satanist movement" as extremist in Russia.
The hearing took place behind closed doors.
Quote: "The court hereby resolves that the claim by the Office of the Prosecutor General shall be upheld; the non-profit corporation Anti-Corruption Foundation, Inc. (ACF, ACF International, 'Anti-Corruption Foundation, Inc.') shall be recognised as a terrorist organisation and shall be banned from carrying out its activities and the activities of its structural subdivisions on the territory of the Russian Federation."
More details: The Anti-Corruption Foundation Inc. was established in summer 2022 after a Russian court branded FBK an extremist organisation and banned its activities in Russia. In December 2022, the organisation was added to the register of foreign agents.
The Russian Prosecutor General's Office said that ACF was set up by the leaders of the extremist organisations "Anti-Corruption Foundation", "Citizens' Rights Protection Foundation" and the civic movement "Navalny Headquarters", banned in Russia, "with the aim of continuing their destructive activities on the territory of Russia".
