Interfax-Ukraine reported the information, citing a source within the SBU."Hits were confirmed on the oil terminal's infrastructure (oil loading standpipes and manifolds) and on the positions of S-300/S-400 air defense systems. According to preliminary data, a large Project 1171 landing ship, which was docked at the naval base pier, was also damaged," the source noted.According to the source, the SBU conducted the operation jointly with the Main Intelligence Directorate, the Special Operations Forces, the Unmanned Systems Forces, the State Border Guard Service, and the coastal missile and artillery troops of the Ukrainian Navy.Specifically, during the Defense Forces' attack on the port of Novorossiysk, a large Project 1171 Tapir landing ship (classified by NATO as Alligator) was damaged, reports Babel, citing sources in the SBU. At the time of the strike, the ship was docked at a pier of the naval base. The Interfax source clarified that during the attack, Russian air defense was actively firing on Novorossiysk's civilian infrastructure, with videos showing repeated instances of missiles from the Pantsir complex hitting residential buildings. The port of Novorossiysk, the source emphasized, is Russia's second-largest oil export hub and the main base for the Russian Black Sea Fleet. In an effort to diminish Russia's military, economic, and offensive potential, the Ukrainian Defense Forces attacked a series of targets on the night of November 25.
