As of now, 27 people have been killed in Ternopil following a Russian missile strike on a residential building, and 94 have been injured.

Quote: "Ternopil: Rescue workers have retrieved the body of a woman from beneath the rubble. Among the 27 people killed are 3 children. A total of 94 people have been injured, including 18 children."

Details: SES added that around 950 sq m of reinforced concrete structures have been dismantled and 460 tonnes of construction debris have been removed. The search and rescue operations are ongoing.

Background:

• On the night of 18-19 November, Russia carried out a combined attack on Ukrainian cities. Explosions were heard in Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.
• In Ternopil, a high-rise residential building was destroyed by the Russian strike. Early reports from the Air Force indicated that a Kh-101 missile hit the building.
