A medical warehouse belonging to the charity foundation Nova Ukraine, headquartered in the US, has been destroyed in Lviv as a result of a Russian missile and drone attack on 19 November.

Details: No employees of the humanitarian organisation were injured.

The warehouse stored medicines and equipment intended to support more than 600 hospitals and medical clinics across Ukraine, which will now lead to delays in deliveries.

The foundation said it is making every effort to quickly redistribute and replace the necessary supplies.

Background:

• A large fire broke out in Lviv after the Russian strike on the morning of 19 November. An energy facility, a woodworking company and a warehouse building were damaged in the city.
• Production facilities of the Pizza Hot restaurant chain were also destroyed in Lviv as a result of the Russian attack on the morning of 19 November.
