Russia's reactionLater, the spokesperson for the Russian dictator, Dmitry Peskov, stated that Russian representatives will not be in Istanbul tomorrow."We have not received any information from Kyiv... Zelenskyy was referring to contacts that will take place tomorrow in Istanbul with our Turkish friends, which Mr. Witkoff will probably join," he told the propaganda state agency RIA-Novosti.According to him, Putin is supposedly open to a conversation if Trump's envoy or Turkish representatives deem it necessary to inform him about the results of the meeting."Russia continues to remain open to the negotiation process; Moscow's position is well known to the U.S., Turkey, and Ukraine," Peskov added.
