At 16:18 on 14 November, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) lost power from one of its two external transmission lines – the 750 kV ZNPP-Dniprovska line, which is the main source of electricity for the Russian-occupied plant.

Details: The ZNPP is currently receiving power for its own needs from just one remaining transmission line.
Quote: "The plant's external power supply, which is essential for safe operation, is again under threat. If it is completely cut off from the power grid, the ZNPP could face the 11th blackout, posing a serious risk to radiation safety."
Background:
- Ukrainian power engineers have repaired ZNPP's power lines 42 times since the start of the full-scale invasion.
- On 7 November, a ceasefire mediated by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) came into effect near the ZNPP to enable repair work to be carried out to strengthen the plant's connection to the power grid and prevent a nuclear disaster.
- The following day, the ZNPP regained access to backup power from the grid for the first time in six months, following the completion of repairs to its second power transmission line.
