Details: The General Staff reported that Ukrainian-made weaponry was used for the strike on the Russian port, particularly Neptune missiles and attack UAVs of various types.
Damage was recorded to valuable port infrastructure and the Sheskharis oil terminal as well as a launcher from an S-400 air defence system and a missile storage site, which was followed by detonation and fire. The extent of the damage is being assessed.
The Sheskharis terminal is one of the largest oil-loading facilities for transshipping oil and petroleum products in southern Russia. It is involved in supplying Russian forces conducting combat operations in Ukraine.
The General Staff also confirmed a strike on the Saratov Oil Refinery in Russia's Saratov Oblast, where explosions and subsequent fires were reported. The facility is used to supply the Russian military. The full impact of the strike is still being assessed.
Additionally, a strike hit the fuel and lubricants storage facility Kombinat Kristall near Engels in Russia's Saratov Oblast, causing explosions in the target area and a subsequent fire at the facility.
