Details: Russian forces raised their flag at the Myrnohradvuhillia mine on the south-eastern edge of Myrnohrad, seeking to pressure the defenders of the Pokrovsk agglomeration and create the illusion of a full presence in the city despite being unable to hold positions there.
The flag remained in place for less than a day.
Quote: "Marines from the 38th Brigade have destroyed the enemy flag with an FPV drone. Two Russian infantrymen who raised the flag were detected and wiped out.
Overall, the situation in Myrnohrad is difficult. Small Russian groups of one or two soldiers manage to slip into the city from time to time. But our troops, through coordinated search-and-destroy actions, wipe out the occupiers. The defence of Myrnohrad continues."
Details: The military also released footage of the Russian flag being destroyed.
Background: On 13 November, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said the Pokrovsk front remains the main focus of Russia's offensive.
