Ukrainian soldiers from the Phoenix border guard unit have destroyed 11 pieces of Russian equipment, including 2 tanks, and killed more than 60 Russian troops on the Pokrovsk front.

Details: The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that near the village of Volodymyrivka, Donetsk Oblast, Russian forces exploited the weather and committed more than 10 armoured vehicles to an assault. Through coordinated action by the Phoenix unit's UAV pilots with adjacent units, the attack was repulsed and the armour destroyed.

The border guards did not specify when the engagement took place.

Quote: "In total, our guys have scored 11 units of heavy armour, including two tanks. More than 60 occupiers who spilled out of the smashed vehicles have been left forever in the fields and wooded areas."

Background: On the North Slobozhanshchyna front, fighters from the mobile unit Stalevyi Kordon (Steel Border) destroyed a camouflaged Russian D-20 howitzer on Russian territory using a fibre-optic-controlled drone.
