Viacheslav 'Liutyi,' commander of the unmanned systems battalion of the 68th Separate Jager Brigade Dovbush's Hornets, stated this on Espreso TV."The situation in the Pokrovsk area is extremely difficult and has been critical for a long time. Currently, severe weather, including heavy fog and precipitation, significantly hinders our ability to observe the enemy and the front lines. The Russian army is exploiting these conditions to advance, move equipment into the city, and concentrate more forces there," he explained. The commander of the unmanned systems battalion also pointed out that while drone usage has decreased due to the bad weather, the intensity of artillery fire and guided aerial bomb attacks remains high."The poor weather drastically reduces drone operations, as there's a high risk of losing the equipment in foggy conditions. However, we can't overlook their relentless artillery fire and, especially, their guided aerial bombs (KABs). They are heavily bombing the city and even areas beyond its limits, targeting our positions. If we had more of these resources, it would be a significant advantage, because even when drones can't fly, artillery and machine guns continue to operate intensely, regardless of the weather," he stated.
