Defense Express military expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi stated this on Espreso TV."The trend will continue, and certain elements of the infrastructure in the Russian energy system will be gradually knocked out. At first glance, it might seem pleasant that somewhere in Belgorod or Voronezh, there's no electricity. But the configuration of the Russian energy system is such that electricity supply goes along the same lines not only to the residential sector but also to industrial facilities and railway transport," noted Kyrychevskyi.According to the expert, when elements of the integrity of the Russian energy system are gradually destroyed, it primarily means that somewhere a train carrying something necessary for the war will stop, or a factory producing goods needed by Russia will have electricity blackouts introduced."There is a stereotypical notion that all of Russia's industry is strategic for the war and located somewhere in the Urals. In reality, there are facilities located very close. For example, strategic Tu-95MS bombers are repaired in Taganrog. Logic suggests that it is necessary to ensure that there is no electricity in Taganrog, because without it, the aircraft factory will not operate.Or one of the manufacturers of important elements of Russia's missile program, where solid fuel for Iskanders is produced, is located only 150 km from the state border of Ukraine. That is, plunging the Russian military-industrial complex into such electrical darkness will take a long and persistent effort. But it will still happen," Kyrychevskyi summarized.Several Russian regions have started a large-scale recruitment drive for volunteers to guard 'especially important facilities.'
