Ukraine brings back eight children and teenagers from temporarily occupied territories

Eight children and teenagers have been brought back to Ukraine from Russian-occupied territories.
Source: Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine
Quote: "An 11-year-old boy had not left his home for four years so that the occupiers wouldn't find and take him away, as his family refused to send him to a Russian school.
An 18-year-old young man was threatened with deportation and forced conscription by local collaborators if he didn't register for military service.
A 17-year-old boy and his 15-year-old sister were constantly bullied at school for speaking Ukrainian, and their parents were fined for such 'disobedience'."
Details: Yermak also reported that a 21-year-old man was tortured by the Russians after a search, as they demanded he confess to alleged cooperation with Ukrainian forces and threatened his family with violence.
All the rescued children are now safe, receiving necessary assistance, restoring their documents and gradually returning to normal life.
