Special operations groups from the 3rd Regiment of Ukraine's Special Operations Forces (SOF) have released a video showing intense street fighting in the city of Pokrovsk in Donetsk Oblast.

Details: The SOF reported that their fighters are carrying out reconnaissance missions and killing Russian troops infiltrating the city.

The video shows fragments of one of the 3rd Regiment's tactical groups in action. The special forces are conducting a mop-up operation to clear the urban area of Russian troops.

Background:

• On 4 November, Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported that its special operation in the city of Pokrovsk is ongoing, with additional forces from special units countering attempts by the Russians to expand their fire advantage over logistics routes in their area of responsibility.
• On 3 November, Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that Ukrainian troops are "forcing the enemy to disperse its forces and preventing them from concentrating their main efforts in the Pokrovsk area".
• On 1 November, Syrskyi said there was no encirclement or blockade of the cities of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in Donetsk Oblast, and that a complex operation to wipe out and push back Russian forces in Pokrovsk was ongoing involving, among others, Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
