Ukraine's Security Service releases footage showing Alpha unit taking out Russian troops on Pokrovsk front
The Security Service of Ukraine has shown how fighters from its Alpha Special Operations Centre are destroying Russian troops and equipment in Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast.

Details : It is reported that in just the past month, fighters of the Alpha Special Operations Centre in Pokrovsk and its suburbs have killed more than 1,500 Russian soldiers.
The Security Service said its fighters have carried out sustained combat operations on the Pokrovsk front, and after an escalation of the operational-combat situation in this sector the number of the Alpha unit personnel there has been significantly increased.
In addition, the Ukrainian Security Service struck 39 artillery systems, including multiple-launch rocket systems, used by the Russians to hit Pokrovsk.
It is explained that, to create corridors for successful drone strikes on Russian forces, Security Service personnel destroyed 18 Russian air defence and electronic warfare assets.
Nevertheless, Alpha carried out a series of special operations behind Russian lines. As a result of these raids, three large Russian fuel and ammunition storage points were blown up.
The full arsenal of armour-piercing weapons and unmanned systems was used against the Russians.

- more than 1,500 Russian occupiers
- 20 tanks
- 62 armoured fighting vehicles
- 39 artillery systems and MLRS
- 10 air defence systems
- 8 electronic warfare assets
- 532 vehicles
- 592 enemy positions and fortifications
- 2 ammunition and 1 fuel storage points.
All strikes on enemy targets have video confirmation."

Background:
- On the morning of 4 November, Defence Intelligence of Ukraine reported that special operations in Pokrovsk are continuing. Along with additional forces, special units are preventing the Russians from expanding their fire advantage over logistics routes within the operational area.
- On 1 November, Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that there was no encirclement or blockade of Pokrovsk or Myrnohrad in Donetsk Oblast and that a comprehensive operation to kill Russian troops and drive them out was ongoing in Pokrovsk, involving units of the Special Operations Forces, the Security Service of Ukraine and Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
- On 3 November, Syrskyi said that Ukrainian forces were seeking to compel the Russians to disperse their troops and prevent the concentration of their main efforts around Pokrovsk.
