Oleksandr Vovk, Staff Sergeant of the 3rd category in the communications department of the 117th Separate Mechanized Brigade, stated this on Espreso TV."Over the last month, in the Pokrovsk direction, there have been more frequent cases when the enemy started to use columns of armored vehicles for attacks. There were cases when they advanced in columns of up to 10 units of equipment, including tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and MT-LBs. Thus, they are probably trying to advance for some period, because, over time, the routes will become more difficult due to deteriorating weather conditions. That is, now their maximum task is to advance at any cost," Vovk said. The serviceman emphasized that the Russian army acts cautiously when the weather is clear, because Ukrainian drones immediately detect and destroy them."It is worth noting that they use equipment even when there is light rain. However, when the weather is clear, they use less equipment. Because, under such conditions, our drones quickly detect and destroy them," he added.Over the past day, October 31, 157 combat engagements took place on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The Russian forces made 48 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions in the Pokrovsk direction.
