He made this statement during a briefing following a meeting on sanctions against Russian companies."We understand that this (sanctions - ed.) could lead to a Russian budget deficit next year of up to $100 billion. Here we have different analyses: there is (information - ed.) - up to $100 billion, which is more skeptical, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (gives - ed.) a more positive (forecast - ed.) for us - $130 billion," Zelenskyy noted. The President emphasized the importance of countries that still buy Russian energy resources gradually reducing these volumes or completely abandoning trade with the aggressor country. He pointed out that China remains the largest importer of Russian energy resources, having purchased oil worth approximately $120 billion. At the same time, the head of state noted countries that have reduced or completely stopped importing Russian energy carriers."Canada, Britain, Australia, Japan are our key partners who have maximally reduced, or even brought to zero, imports from the Russian Federation," Zelenskyy stressed. However, according to him, India, China, Turkey, and Central Asian countries, on the contrary, have increased trade volumes with Russia. The President also expressed hope that after the new American sanctions come into force on November 20, partners will not make exceptions."We know that Hungary is working to be excluded and continue importing. This is an important aspect, we will also deal with this," Zelenskyy emphasized. In his opinion, limiting Russian finances is important so that Russia's military budget does not have money for the war."According to our data, they are counting on a budget (referring to money for the war - ed.) of $210 billion next year. We see - both from the Security Service and from foreign intelligence - where they want to increase, and we must work to prevent them from succeeding," the head of state said.On October 30, Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, stated that as a result of Ukrainian drone attacks, the reduction in oil refining in the Russian Federation reached 18 to 20%.
