All strikes were aimed precisely at civilian infrastructure," Hryhorov wrote at 12:12 a.m.According to his information, a nine-story building and a two-story residential house in different parts of the city were hit."Two victims from the high-rise building – a minor girl and an elderly woman – have already received assistance on the spot. Information regarding the wounded is being clarified. People whose homes were damaged are being provided with necessary assistance," added the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.In the morning, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine clarified that as a result of the hit on the nine-story residential building, five apartments and seven balconies on the upper floors caught fire. Rescuers saved 12 residents of the high-rise building. In the private sector, two utility buildings caught fire, and a one-story building with five apartments was damaged by the blast wave."The greatest destruction and large-scale fires occurred at an infrastructure facility. The fires have been extinguished. According to preliminary information, 11 people were injured, including four children," the State Emergency Service noted.Attack on railway infrastructureAs reported by Ukrzaliznytsia (Ukrainian Railways), the Russian enemy struck railway infrastructure in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions during the night.In Sumy, the Russian army hit a passenger depot. Other company utility buildings, as well as rolling stock, were damaged and destroyed.Additionally, railway infrastructure was damaged in the Lozova area.According to preliminary information, no one was injured — all employees went to shelters in time.On October 26, in the Sumy region, a passenger minibus was damaged as a result of a Russian drone attack. The incident occurred on the highway near the Mykolaivka rural community.
