Drones attack Russia: some airports closed, UAVs downed over Moscow, explosions reported at oil refineries – photos

Russia has been under drone attacks since the beginning of 29 October. Drones have been downed over the city of Moscow, the operation of several airports has been restricted and Russian Telegram channels have reported explosions at oil refineries.

Details: Sobyanin claimed that at least seven drones had been down over Moscow and Moscow Oblast late on 28 October and in the early hours of 29 October.
Korenyako said that flight arrivals and departures had been restricted at airports in Moscow and other cities. However, according to reports, all restrictions have now been lifted.
Meanwhile, residents of Novospasskoye in Russia's Ulyanovsk Oblast told Russian Telegram channels about an attack on the NS-Oil refinery.
According to SHOT, locals heard between five and eight explosions on the outskirts of Novospasskoye at around 00:20. Reports also mentioned flashes and the sound of an engine in the sky.
Ulyanovsk Oblast Governor Aleksei Russkikh claimed that a "drone attack" had been repelled in the Novospasskoye district: "There are no casualties. Emergency services are working at the scene where weapons debris fell."
Explosions were also heard in the Mari El Republic. Witnesses reported a glow in the sky over the village of Orshanka. Meanwhile, the Telegram channel Exilenova+ wrote that the Mari refinery had been attacked there.
In addition, Exilenova+ wrote about an attack on Stavrolen LLC in Budyonnovsk in Stavropol Krai. The plant is a major producer of chemical products, including polyethylene, polypropylene, benzene and other petrochemical materials.
