Ukraine's State Border Guard Service has released footage from Donetsk Oblast showing yet another Russian assault being repelled and 12 armoured vehicles destroyed.

Details: The SBGS said this is the fifth Russian assault in October towards the settlements of Volodymyrivka and Shakhove in Donetsk Oblast.

Russian forces lost 12 pieces of armour, including 2 BMP infantry fighting vehicles, 1 MT-LB – a multi-purpose fully amphibious auxiliary armoured tracked vehicle – and 4 tanks.

More than 40 Russian troops were wiped out, the SBGS added.

The State Border Guard Service calculated that Russia has lost 92 heavy armoured vehicles in this area since the beginning of October.
