Russian drone strikes minibus in Sumy Oblast, injuring five, including child – photo

A Russian drone has struck a minibus on the Sumy-Bilopillia motorway in the Sumy district, injuring five people, including a child.

Details: Sumy Oblast Prosecutor's Office reported that the attack occurred at around 16:50 on 26 October, when a passenger minibus travelling on the Sumy-Bilopillia road was attacked by a Russian drone. The vehicle was carrying five passengers and a driver. Five of them sustained injuries of varying severity.
Quote from Hryhorov: "A Russian drone has hit a minibus on the motorway near the Mykolaivka hromada. The Russians have deliberately struck a passenger vehicle – directly hitting civilians.
Early reports indicate that five people have been injured, including a minor. One person is in a serious condition." [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories – ed.]
Details: Hryhorov added that the minibus, which was heading towards Sumy, had been completely destroyed by fire.
"Scheduled public transport should not have been using this section of the road – other routes have been designated for such travel. We are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident," he added.
