During the liberation and mopping up of the village of Kucheriv Yar on the Dobropillia front of Donetsk Oblast, Ukrainian paratroopers managed to locate and evacuate local civilians to safety.

Details: An aerial reconnaissance unit delivered a note with further instructions and evacuation coordinates. In total, 10 people were rescued.

The Air Assault Forces noted that the operation was complicated by the fact that Russian soldiers often disguise themselves as civilians, making identification challenging. Nevertheless, thanks to coordinated actions between the headquarters and assault units, the operation was successful and saved civilians that had been trapped in danger.

• Local authorities continue to urge residents of frontline settlements to evacuate. However, many civilians remain in active combat zones, which complicates the defence forces' operations.
