Ukrainian drones strike Russia's Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery and Orenburg gas plant

Ukrainian forces struck the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in Samara Oblast and the Orenburg gas processing plant in Russia on the night of 18-19 October.

Details: Fires were recorded on the territory of the oil refinery. Early reports indicate that primary oil refining units were hit.

In addition, a fuel and lubricant storage facility in temporarily occupied Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia Oblast was struck. There were reports of explosions and a fire at the site.
For reference: The Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery produces more than 20 types of commercial products, with an annual primary refining capacity of 4.9 million tonnes.
The Orenburg gas processing plant is one of the largest gas processing facilities in Russia, capable of processing up to 45 billion cubic metres of natural gas and 6.2 million tonnes of gas condensate or oil per year.
