Serhii Dzherdzh, head of the Ukraine-NATO Public League, stated this on Espreso TV."I think it's a play on words. Perhaps Trump had some meetings with generals or defense ministers, and he adopted this rhetoric about offense and counter-offense. But for us, a defensive position is more sparing of human lives, soldiers, and equipment than the offensive position that Russia holds today, from which it only loses. They are losing physically—people and equipment, and morally—because they are not achieving any success. Ultimately, Russia is also losing in the international arena, as more and more countries and companies refuse to cooperate with it," emphasized Dzherdzh.According to the head of the Ukraine-NATO Public League, no matter how difficult it is for us today, time is on our side. The transfer of Tomahawk missiles has not only military but also psychological significance, as the strengthening of Ukraine demoralizes the Russians and instills fear in them about the potential use of such weapons."I think we will not be given many of these missiles, but this high-precision weapon will ultimately bleed the Russian military machine dry, and that is the main task of our state," Dzherdzh summarized. On October 15, U.S. President Donald Trump called on Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to stop killing Ukrainians and Russians.
