Denys Marchuk, deputy chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council, stated this on Espreso TV."Today, we state that, unfortunately, about 20% of agricultural land is under temporary occupation. Every year we lose approximately 3-4 million tons of grain and oil crops that could have been harvested from this region. This amounts to losses in the billions of dollars, considering the export potential that could have been realized from the harvested crops," commented Marchuk.According to him, Russia resorts to any manipulation not only in the war, but also in foreign export markets. The aggressor country mixes stolen Ukrainian grain with Russian grain because there are no bans on the export of Russian grain. Accordingly, forged shipping documents are made and the grain is actually sold around the world as a Russian food product group. This is not neglected by the political and economic allies of the Russian Federation, for example, those in Africa."About 90 countries in the world today are buying grain that was stolen from the territory of Ukraine. Therefore, we, as a state, must record this fact today with the help of our international partners. Through satellite monitoring systems, we see how grain is exported to the ports of temporarily occupied Crimea, how those ships enter foreign ports, and all of this is being recorded. Our partners apply sanctions to countries that buy stolen Ukrainian grain, but the basis must be the accompanying documents, which after our victory will serve as documentary evidence in courts for the payment of losses and reparations that Ukraine has suffered due to the enemy's actions. And, accordingly, so that the state will then have the opportunity to compensate the farmers," the expert noted. On October 1, Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, published a video showing Russian military boats escorting vessels with stolen Ukrainian grain and coal under the Kerch Bridge.
