State Emergency Service tackles aftermath of Russian guided bomb strikes on Kharkiv – photos, video

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has published photos and a video of firefighters dealing with the aftermath of Russian guided bomb strikes on the city of Kharkiv on the night of 13-14 October.

One of the strikes hit the premises of a hospital in the Saltivskyi district of the city. A single-storey garage building was partially destroyed, while a three-storey medical facility, an industrial building and several cars were damaged. Two separate fire outbreaks were recorded.



Confirming the information provided by Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration and city council, the State Emergency Service stated that all patients who were in the hospital at the time of the guided bomb strikes had been transferred to another medical facility, where they are now being examined by doctors.
The report also added that State Emergency Service units, including bomb disposal experts and psychologists, together with police officers and medical and municipal workers, are operating at the scene.
