Russian attack on Kherson and Bilozerka kills 24-year-old man and injures 2 others

A 24-year-old local man has been killed and two others, both aged 39, have been injured in the Russian attacks on the city of Kherson and the village of Bilozerka in Kherson Oblast.

Details: Russian forces shelled Kherson's Dnipro district with artillery on Saturday 11 October. Emergency workers pulled a 39-year-old man from under the rubble of a damaged house. He suffered blast and head injuries, a concussion, head abrasions and chest trauma. Medics have transported him to hospital in a serious condition.
At around 10:30, Russian troops opened fire on Bilozerka, wounding another 39-year-old resident. He sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his shoulder and neck. He is receiving appropriate medical treatment.
Another strike on Bilozerka killed a 24-year-old man. His injuries were incompatible with life.
Background: On 9 October, a Russian drone strike killed a municipal worker in the city of Kherson.
